I damaged the lower x-ply panels on my 5.6 S2 Maui Dragon. Is it worth repairing and if so, will it ever feel the same?

There's a bunch of boat sail lofts around my area (Galveston), but not sure ...

Sailed that area back in the mid-90's before the hotel existed. A couple of friends and I sailed 4.5/5.0 for 3 days without anyone in sight. Worth a try, but Arenal is worth checking out.

When my son was 8 (he's now 10), the 2.0 was a good fit. Never seen the Chinook sails in person but we really like the North DriveGrom. The sails are well built and still very light.

I have square cross bars but added a wind fairing to help with noise and drag. Not sure how much it helps but probably more than the aerodynamic bars.
