Had a 3 hour session launching from Deer Island. Winds 35-45. Got startled a few times from jets on their final approach to Logan.

Ended up sailing Lighthouse Point and sailed in New Haven Harbor. 2 hours on the 5.0.

Temps were a balmy 32, with ice forming on the sail.

Was on my 3.5, but could have used the 2.8 towards the end. I would subtract 5 mph from the readings as the anemometer is on top of the lighthouse.

Had a 3 hour session at Conimicut in upper Narragansett Bay. Amazing waves just past the lighthouse due to some tidal rip and some nice breakers near shore. Quite strong 40-50 mph most of the time. ...

Looks like the storm is tracking more north. Looks lIke southerly winds for the South Coast. Planning on a drive towards the Cape where it will be the strongest.
