Also, out of curiosity, is Long Beach a good spot to windsurf? I live in Arizona, and SoCal is much closer of a trip then the Bay Area. |

Doesn't Aruba off shallow water for learning, and steady winds in the winter?
I have never been there, but heard it was good.
Aruba would be easy to get to but I'm not sure how it is safety-wise ... |
