Hi there - I heartily recommend Neil Pryde Maui (Vela runs out of there). I rented from them last month: great gear, great service, friendly staffers... cant say enough good things.

Ditto. I, for one, feel that some of the previous negative reactions to this site were not justified.

Beware of videos produced by American Windsurfer. Ive found the ones Ive seen to be poor.

Hi - Frisco Woods is a good spot. You can sail right from your tent. Cheap too. Located south of Buxton.
In terms of best time to sail - July/August arent stellar.
