Hi Joe,

I would say under 10 mph.

Only the foil kites are slightly lower. Other kites won't come out in the lows the Hydra is going in.

Keep in mind I weigh around 155 lbs right now.

dllee, tuning is critical. A couple times I went out with it tuned too soft. Not enough down haul and out haul. And that felt too loose and I could not pump it.

That is interesting because for me the straps forward brought stability but not maneuverability in terms of easier turning.
