I have the 266 but also the Avantride 280 for lighter winds. Am probably getting the Avantride 270 also for lightwind wave sailing. That 270 might interest you as well it has 120L. BTW s ... |

West coast of mainland Mex is great in summer for surfing. Not as reliable for wind but south swell is the bomb |

If you can take your own gear, go to Fiji. It is like Maui in the 60s, they are glad you are there and prices are down now because of the coup |

Check into the RRD Avantride 280; that is what I am getting for the very same situations. They could be a bit more fragile than some but also will pop up easier be fast and still good in small surf. P ... |

Why not try the new Ezzy Freestyles. They take trade ins on old sails which is why I use Ezzys. Their reputation is for durability but the new ones are also light. |

I think you are here; the mags do it but of course there is the advertising $$. The best suits for wind are Promotion in Hood River, hands down. For surfing, Hotline in Santa Cruz. |

What about this new Ezzy mast, has anyone tried it yet. It is a skinny but I dont know how skinny. Will try to look at one at WD this weekend. Maybe they will do trade ins. |

Try the RRD Avantride 270 or 280 by RRD. You can trade your old board in on it. They employ the widestyle but are still mucho fun |
