So I'm still thinking 9.5 Lion, 7.5 Cheetah. We do have sand here, but I can launch away from it and never go into it. Are there any other sails like the Retro that act more like a cam sail?

yeah, I'm sure Icould sail it w/o the cams, it would probably lose a bit of power, right? ie worse than a 9.5 sail designed for no cams would be. My only issue left with cams is the wear on the mast- ...

Alright, the XFire is 84cmm wide, so maybe an 8.5 Maui Sails Blaze? 3 cams, but still fairly lightweight. Would that cover a good range with two different fins on the Xfire?
