Yep, there's a kind of a snap (quick jerk) at the end of your sail transition where you
yank the sail toward you (like a pump) to get the danged cams to rotate.

I think the dealer mark-up for big windsurf gear is probably around 20%.

Rig the sail up. Does it rotate easily by itself (maybe with a minor yank to pop it through).

+2 so true, but usually not with them when they crack a board.

All the Windsurfers I know have a better supply of spare boards than they do of repair tape.
