you sure about the sizing there? sounds big; most of the land sailing rigs i've seen are in the 3.5~4.5 range.

originally the sensor was installed courtesy/under-the-wing of the marina ...

eh, for the record, it is not actually the broken cup on the defunct sensor, but may be either in the cable bundle or slip rings of the one that is still spinning properly.
