Is windsurfing permitted at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport Connecticut?

I know it's permitted at some other CT state parks - Hammonasset, for example.

I have mostly been rigging my boom where i rig it for non-foil sailing.

Is that what most people are doing?

I was thinking that a higher boom - maybe a lot higher - might be better. I'll try it ...

i have the same issue...

the stance is a bit unsustainable.

Slingshot says on their website that the optimal distance from the from the front screw of a tuttle box foil to the mast foot is 42 in ...

Lay the bolt down next to a metric ruler and count the number of threads over a 15 mm span. If you count 10 threads itís 1.5 mm pitch. 12 threads = 1.25 pitch.

yeah - march was pretty sucky...

out of 7 or 8 possible sailing days.., i only sailed 2 - 6.2 one afternoon for about 2 hours.., and 5.8 one day.., for pretty much the whole day.
