Do the Chinook Pro 1 Alloy Booms corrode ??? What do you think they corrosion life is? Say after 5 years are they 20% weaker? I would love to hear your opinion.

Windsurfing 2nd day
Yesterday 6.0 medium board warm water (63) wind low 20's
Today avg 25 small board 5.5 then later medium board sailed until I couldn't sheet in — at Black Butte Lake. |

We left 3rd due to WSW direction of the wind. Went to Coyote, wind was still pretty far off shore but was a better setup as expected. Major shadow with slog out, so used big gear and once out way over ... |

Friday Black Butte happened. 6.0 medium board, parking is getting to be a problem, as in what is the best space. I was the only sailor @ North end. The old days 20-25 sailors. |

Black Butte's main body is always sail-able, even in extremely low water. However access is from the west side (BuckHorn) in very low water makes all sailing totally off shore and if you go way south ... |

Good points have been made, my local eye doc said the same. However 1 or 2 hrs of sailing's exposure to the eyes per day of sailing, seems small compared many hrs per day that many people get when not ... |
