I've seen one person foiling there. Open water is ok but there are rocks closer to shore that are not a problem for windsurfers but could be a problem for foiling.

There is also another factor - in unfamiliar conditions you get trashed on day 1 and are cruising by day 2.

A little ambiguous since a bad forecast could mean the difference between actual and forecast. How about the worst actual. Here's an example - Ned's Point, the day before a cold front.
