i windsurf on ice and was going too fast
(for me anyway - with the setup being used)
laid the sail on the ice and slid for another 100 meters
NO sudden stops on the ice PLEASE ...

and thick thick rails
not everyone can start with the real thing
keep trying to push buddy to lessons
get over first hump
