I like the boom low with shorter lines. So much more control and easy to get into the harness even pre slogging.

attach the boom just above the mast extention on the mast. Get a pair of pliers large enough to fit around the bottom of the mast extension and twist it off.
This worked for me.

You will not go up wind with a wave fin. Use a blade fin or a teardrop shaped fin to get more upwind. To learn to jibe
go to a light wind area say 15 mph with a race board or at least a 125 l boar ... |
