Sailing near the airport is nice alte season when they get just a little more wind than Coyote and 3rd and are therefore still sailable. Otherwise if it is blowing at these other site... why drive up ...

You launch from a pier, and sail down a short channel before it opens into the bay. It may be only 100 ft (?), but the problem is more how bad, rather than how far. The mud there is soft and deep... ...
