Actually I prefer to wear my rescue kit around my waist rather than on the rig. This way if you get separated from your rig you still have access to the kit.

I was the one who got rescued on Saturday, definitely on windsurfing gear.

What happened is that my sail got suddenly detached from my rig while fully powered on a 4.7 a third of the way ...
