Had a crappy self rescue situation off of Angel Island. Lost my Black/Blue Aluminum Chinook Boom. Ebb was cranking, who knows where it ended up, but if someone finds it let me know.

As a windsurfer since 1979 and kiter since 1999, I have to ask, why does it matter if/that kitesurfing is more dangerous than kiting? This is a very odd discussion.

Years and years ago, I can't even remember how many years ago, I nailed an amazing post-frontal side off day at OB. Perfectly sunny, head high waves, it was the only side off day I've ever had there.

Super powered at 6pm at Sherman on 4.5 and 78L. Ramps were slightly disappointing given the 27 readings at M10...

Ha, I remember that guy on the weather radio too. Can't believe that's all we had back then. And then I actually carried a beeper (Call of the Wind)! All the while the forecasts have gotten better ...
