A big thanks to all volunteers. Over 20 people showed to support efforts to keep “The Stick” a great place to sail. As a result of conducting this evolution at maximum low tide, we netted easily over 100lbs of glass, detritus, re-bar and discarded boomboxes, masts etc. Thought vastly improved, the launch still has room for improvement. Large craggy rocks, uneven submerged chasms and a submerged sailboat (wtf?) still pose serious safety concerns. As revealed by the low tide Launching or landing anywhere besides the traditional narrow “launch” should be attempted with caution.
Thanks again to everyone that showed up.

Bill

Did anyone take a picture of what it looks like out there at dead low tide? Posting it in the local info section of the candlestick sensor would contribute to the safety of anyone sailing there. Thanks.

I put up a before and after shot here:

The "after" shot is at low tide.

Thanks Suba-rude for organizing
