Heard a rumor that Vela Los Barriles is closing. Something about the hotel booting them.
Has anyone heard anything about this and has accurate info as oppossed to my hearsay ? |

| I was hanging in Los Barriles a couple weeks ago with Pedro - the Vela Baja manager - and he was in full plan mode for next year. It was a great year for wind and it sounded like he had lots of happy guests. He is buddy's with the family son that runs the hotel. |

Vela Baja enjoys a mutually valued ongoing partnership with the Van Wormer Family that continues as it has for many years.
We indeed had a great season this past winter, and we look forward to welcoming our guests for the 2009/2010 season.
Hope that you enjoy the upcoming summer season and perhaps have a chance to sail with us in Hood River or another fun Vela destination!
