Beat me to it!
I will add nice rolling swell, lulls happened often enough to allow nice surfing.
To top it off I used a tanker's wake to come back in.
to summarize:
strong wind: check
big swell: check
purpoises sharing the wave: check
no jumpers ruining the mood: check
Sun: check
Boat full of tourist taking our picture: check
no one's injured or recued: check
I'd say this makes for a pretty nice session.

so... who makes the good roast beef sando? |
It was a Bagel/Sandwitch shop in San Rafael. I was shopping and waiting to see if I was going to drive to Tomales. It actually was pretty good (also my only choice for a sandwitch to go )

10 minutes on my 4.5/95l at the stick at 2pm. all the time thinking, "bullhead?" but punked out and went to 3rd. wind shifted and died. Drove home, thinking "bullhead?" worked out, went to dinner, thinking "bullhead?"
thanks for answering my question, steve.

One of these days I really need to try Bullhead. A wind sensor there would be nice! But I really love Tomales (except the hour plus drive)...

There is no need for a sensor at Bullhead. If Tomales is cranking and the bay is buzzzing with ANY NW action, Bullhead will be .
