Roosevelt vs Arlington readings

The readings for Roosevelt and Arlington are really far apart today, R = NE14-29, A = NE2-10. Does anybody have onsite feedback? Is the sensor at Roosevelt unreliable from the East, or was it sailable out there today?

I don't gotta be there to tell ya I don't own gear big enough for its 15 mph average. Maybe any kiters sitting there got out, but it looked awfully gusty at 15 average gusting regularly to 30. That's ho-hum 7.5 punctuated by a few Holy $#!+s on WSing gear. It's windier at the Wall, but by the time you subtract the current, it's effectively back to lower-mid-teens. There was a lot of wind NE of that area, but it was also FROM the NE, a pretty useless direction for most of the Columbia except for Port Kelley, and I was too busy with a veterinary emergency to go there. It's probably been done, but I don't KNOW of ANYONE ever WSing at Roosevelt in E winds, despite some locals sailing there 12 months out of the year.

I gotta find out who's in charge of those things and write 'em to request that when it's calm, they swing 'em around to point NE, suck some power off the grid, and fire 'em up.

I sail Roosevelt a lot in may and june.
I did desparatly try to sail an easterly there once.
I stepped into the water with a 6.5
The wind gods laughed and shed a tear of pity.
After the tearfull rain (and the east wind) abruply died,
Their laughter came as a fresh west breeze.
I got the last laugh.
