Speed contests in the Gorge

Remember the day’s when people would line up at Bingen to try and get the speed record. How long has it been since Mike set that record on the Klickitat? How come nobody does that anymore? Remember when Bingens name was on the hill and someone changed the spelling to Ragin?

Derek and Alex Nielson always post. Derek is usually the fastest around here on any given day and he always posts. You know when he is beaten as faster times get posted. Others are good sports and post when out, fast or slow

The fastest times of the year are typically later summer when the sandbar is up. Timing is critical as water rises during the day.
