Hi,
Does anyone know where there are some good summer sailing sites between say Stamford and Bridgeport, CT?
This would be for an out-of-stater for access issues are important.
thanks,

Summer time that far into the sound....basically nothing. A few state beaches up and down I95 but even if you paid 15-20 bucks to get in there prob will not be wind to sail. |

Walnut Beach in Milford alloweds wind and kite surfing (left side of beach only). Last year, the fee for out-of-town folks was $5. May be more this year, haven't been yet. They stopped collecting $$ last year at 3:00. |

Check out Calf Pasture beach in Norwalk. It's a state park and you have to pay the entrance fee. Ask for the sailing center and it's the Norwalk site on the wind and forecast map. However getting wind there in the summer is another story. |
