It's rather impressive this year. I don't think the vessels will be in port for much longer; try getting there now. Sail Boston

Wife and I discussed it but decided to pass this time around. We'll do the festivals in the North End next month instead. Maybe see you there? |

Oooo, ooo. Could this be my chance to throw you into the Charles?
Dear Cosmicharlie,
I invite you to join me on a duck boat departing at 1:15 tomorrow. We will see rather impressive sights, prabably. We can even go for a swim depending on whether we cross courses with Eagle. I know you will appreciate the manly Cadets dressed in white ready to throw a life line to anyone who might "fall over."
Please drop me an E-mail with your travel plans. Perhaps you will rather travel the Peter Pan than those terrible, frightening highways like Route 24. Either way, I look forward to a delightful time. I do hope you can attend.
See you at the dock, with my flock of seagulls ready to pluck out your eyes. Perhaps you might enjoy crushing my skull afterward. Or me yours. Either way, I anticipate a rather delightful time. Prabably. |

How little of what's posted here gets read. If by mistake someone does read it, they certainly must want to forget it as soon as they can. |

Brucie, O Wise One, nobody will ever forget anything you've posted . . .
. . . because none of it was worth remembering in the first place.
Ergo, nothing to forget. |

I'm thinking about sailing to Boston in mid August from Highlands, NJ. I was thinking heading up from Raritan Bay in New Jersey up the East River to the sound.. Any suggestions on if the current being too strong. Is there a Slack Tide?? |
