West Dennis meter vs Kalmus meter

Where is the West Dennis meter located?

Is it on the bath house at the entrance to the beach?

Is there really such different conditions between there and Kalmus as the meters sometimes indicate?[/b]

No it is not on the bathhouse. It's east of the Lighthouse Inn.
To me the WD meter reads 3 or 4 mph higher than actual,
although not always. I believe kalmus also reads higher than
it is, but many factors come into play, wind direction, gustyness
ect. But overall they are fairly accurate, so if kalmus is reading 30
and WD 20, yes it's windier at Kalmus.
