i'm liking my patagonia a lot. it's all 3 mill but cozily lined with wool so it's as least as warm as a 4/3. well built, easy to get in & out of, dries quickly, pricey. |

Hey Boggs; I always go with an off the shelf O'Neil which you can get from any surf shop. |

I am a Clydesdale windsurfer and at 6'3" and 250 lbs find it hard to fit many suits. I discovered ProMotion in Hood River and never looked back. Even if you are sized easier than me I would check them out. I am not sponsored or
team rider but find them to be the best at windsurfing specialty wetsuits. Easy shipping, good consultation and easy exchange should you need to.

I used to use Promotion wetsuits because they were comfy and easy to get in to. However, in my opinion, after about 4-5 Promotion wetsuits, they do not hold up as long as I think they should. I kept getting leaks in seams. They also did not keep me very warm because they do not fit snugly. I recently bought the Patagonia R3 wetsuit (wool-lined) and am very pleased. I have used it at Manzanita on the Oregon coast and at Crissy Field. It is very warm and also comfortable to wear. It is more difficult to put on than the Promotion suit, but not excessively so. The model with the front zipper is even more difficult to put on.
So far, I am very pleased with it. |

O'Neill Psycho. Great suit, easy to get on/off, warm, flexible.
Got mine at ProofLab in Mill Valley.
6'3"/240lbs = XXL fits me perfectly. |

Their seams are fully guaranteed for the life of the suit. Get 'em fixed.

I've had alot of suits but the ONeil Heat is the lightest, warmest, and best constructed that I've owned. It's their low end 4/3 so it's relatively cheap.
I recommend highly. |
