PoorBoy, the slalom buoys are already set, just upwind of the Event Site. You can get a drag race and a planing jibe demo just about any windy day. Don't let your sponsor's slalom gear go to waste. Gorge Cup this Saturday, Blowout next Saturday and the US Nationals the following week. Bring your friends. There's always beer and BS afterwards.

Oh, dude. I wanna see the hatch boys jump into a slalom race That Tyson guy is too into the frou-frou flippy stuff - but I bet Miller-Time could be pretty flippin' fast on some slalom gear!
/This couched quarterback is still giving the race to BP, though.
Have a couple of sessions for me kids - on the water - and out of the bottle

Well, doesn't really look that promising for today... Now I just hope there's wind for tomorrow's race at the Event Site.

Well it looks like today is finally going to be a great Friday! Due to nationals, I won't be able to organize an event, but lets keep our fingers crossed that the friday curse has been lifted!

So last Friday the curse was finally broken! A great afternoon of 4.7 winds provided perfect conditions to get out and try something new. Since there had not been any wind in days and people just wanted to get out and sail, what we decided to do was have everybody pick one move they haven't yet learned, and go out and try it as many times as possible. The first sailor to land the new move, AND have a witness, was the 'winner.'
Rob Warwick landed his first port shove-it to spock diablo, and had a witness first, congrats!
Hope to see you all there the next coming Fridays. Remember, the idea is just to get out and try something new, and have other freestyler's on hand ready and willing to help and give whatever tips to help you progress as fast as possible, at whatever level!
