I am going to Nantucket on Thursday for a long weekend and it is supposed to blow from the NE. I haven't been there before and have no idea where one can launch and sail. I mostly sail in Buzzards Bay which is rollers but not really wave sailing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jay

On a NE I would sail off of jetties beach. This time of year you can park at jetties walk your gear down to the inside or outside of the jetties. The outside of the jetties has a great sandbar for bump and jump, inside will be some fast sailing. Inside would be safer if you are alone. Jetties beach would be good though.
