I made no predictions whatsoever.
Never have, probably never will.
I just read very closely what the forecasters say.

That's great! Doncha love it when that happens?
I rolled into Roosevelt late one morning to a chorus of "Oh, boy; here come the TriCities guys; we're gonna get some wind after all."
"Sorry, guys, but the best forecast I can find calls for averages around 20. I just wanted to try out my new 6.2 on my giant board. Don't get your hopes up."
We spent the whole long summer afternoon on 4.xs in steady 30 mph winds. I love it when that happens.

Hey Craig,
figured that was you out there. Wind chimes were going off here Thursday night (my east wind forecaster) so I had a good sign for winds on Friday.
Great day.... started off 4.2 around 9 am and finished 4.2 around 2pm.... nothin' but 4.2 and very well powered on the OREGON side (ding-ding-ding - oops, finally made the correction ). Fine swell as well.
FYI.... Home Valley was cranking 4.2 this AM with nice, smooth swell west of the rock.

We sailed the AM sesh at the Boat Ramp on Saturday, 5.5 from 9 till Noon.
It was a little Northerly, but still great fun, especially between the red
buoy and the Oregon side.
