I ask because I live about 10 minutes from the lake but haven't given it a shot yet. Beats a 90 min drive to the Cape...maybe |

Indian Lake, isn't that north of Strand's Ski Shop and on the other side of the hiway from Norton Abrasives? Greg of WindSnow&H20, the defunct shop in Hyannis got his start there. |

I sailed there once. The wind was good but I was parked illegally and didn't stay long. If you have access it should be good. |

The good old days - I learned to water ski taking off from Uncle Leo's backyard at Indian lake. I haven't been there in 40 years, but I still have fond memories of Leo and Clara's triple decker and it's musty smell.
Hey Oliver when are you comin back down our way? Another big weekend is starting to be forecasted.

The weekend forecast is looking good, but there should be plenty of wind up here so I'll stay up north. I only make the drive when there's nothing here and a good forecast for the Cape. |

hey thanks for the input. I'll definitely have to give it a try. Can't beat it for convenience. Looks good for S/SW wind. Maybe NE as well.
I scouted things out the other day and there's a shut down DCR beach off of Clason road. Plenty of parking. Not sure if anyone would care if I launched from there. Shouldn't bother anyone. |
