| When the air gets this cold this fast, you can hop off your board and have a soak in the Atlantic hot tub to warm up for more!! Arrived at Chapin at high tide fri am, local sailor Greg was the only one out, with epic conditions all to himself!! Rigged a 4.2(thanx for leavin the empty sailbag visible, Greg) and headed out into big surf conditions. Others eventually joined us, but no kiters. Leaky drysuit kept me warm enuff, but the summer booties left my toes a bit numb. Sat. high tide at Chapin@ 11am - see you there for round 2!! |
