A lttle FYI there are any Outcast type SUP surfers out there that wondered how things survived.
Instead of riding my bike to work, I figured burning gas to do a little fact finidng was required. From a global vantage point at Liam's the Bowl seemed like it is still the place to ride without getting caught up in dealing with shorebreak. One lone SUP'r had the sweetest 2.6' waves with a 10+ sec. period. They were jacking nicely up over waist high in front of the snack shack. On the way back into town, Bowl SUP'r regular Larry, with the black Tacoma, was haul'n a$$ to get his fill.
Tonight while getting my girl after soccer practice, bowl summer surf champ Mac (and soccer coach) had 2 boards loaded and ready to go. She was running to get the last moments of day light.
Man, today was a day meant to be on the weekend!!!
