Once again, it's blowing in Duxbury. Yesterday was nice with low 20s, but it's blowing 31 already, and all models predict increases for the day. With E/NE winds like today, the models always underestimate wind strength in Duxbury, so 35 with gusts of 40 are likely. Hope to see you there! |

I had a good session. Shared a big wave with Peter T (on his kite). Long down the line ride with mellow top turns and bottom turns. Being a mile off shore with no dime to call mommy makes for some more conservative sailing. But it really is all about the size. I really like to scare myself. It makes me feel more alive. Got washed big time on my second run to the outside. Did a big swim watching the wave take my gear away from me. No time to call out for help from Billy Boy (my leash broke!). Was thinking about how I was right in the spot they filmed the great white on labor day as I was getting worked. Made a fair amount of runs to the outside and had my fill of good size walls jacking up. I will consider that my 09 Thanks for Giving me Waves session. Abide. _________________ www.Clew-View.com
