How was your trip to Jerri ?

Please tell me about you windsurfing vacation to Jerri. I'm considering going on a long windsurfing vacation to escape the brutal cold this year. Has anyone stayed in the local guest houses ? How was the travel getting there ? How was the food ? Is the water safe to drink or like DR ? Is it better then Maui and worth the long trip? What are the prices like compared to the states ?
I'll be traveling alone unless someone wants to join me.
