Alameda Sunday 5:30-7pm, solid 6.6 off-shore at first (towards Harbor Bay ferry channel) then all-over. Warm. Perfect first day of the season! |

Does anyone want to reveal how good the coast was on Sunday?
20-25, buoys reading 4 feet at 12 seconds. My thinking is that this would be ideal and head/logo high, but I know you guys are protecting something good down there.
Wanted to drive, but wasn't feeling up to it... |

Nice day at Tomales although atypical. 5.0 all day, most I did was go down a notch on board size. Beautiful day. 3 sails. 3 kites. Joe Bob says "Check it out".

launched after 6pm at Embassy Suites in a fit of insanity. The flood WAS ending after all. Holey inside but I found a good stiff breeze a couple miles out. I was desperately trying to get outside to some better wind and make it back up wind. Jackpot. |

Davenport yesterday, predominately head to logo high punctuated by intermittent mast high sets (south reef) although the latter seemed to be wherever I wasn’t. Sunny, warm (a novelty for Nor Cal), and windy on 4.7 and 75L. |

Sounds like you had a good time. Time to start planning for the next windy+wave getaway to the coast.

How do you replace just the tendon? I replaced the whole tendon and hardware assembly and it cost me $55.
I can't figure out how to replace the tendon on a 2 bolt chinook base plate set up.
Where do you get the parts? |

Coyote yesterday....slogged around for a while on a 5.7, wind was up and down. (Good practise for marginal waterstarting?) Got a few good reaches, even got launched real nice once.
Not as cold as I thought it would be in March. A decent start to my season, anyway.

Most windsurf shops have them there is also online
Murrays Marine , Windance , Big Winds You have to know how to
use tools and have some it should be obvious there's a bolt in the
top and bottom. Some have internal sleeves on the bolt hole some have
bolts that are smooth where they go through. You might want to
get a new set of bolts and nuts . Also this should be a separate question
outside of this thread which is titled "where we are sailing today".
Looks like there might be some storm winds tommrow .

TI was nice on a flood this afternoon. 108 skate and 5.0 sail. Skate was an afterthought after I noticed some slogging going on. Glad I rode it today. Water was really choppy on starboard.
When I got out I was standing by my car and the guy that lives next to where I park came out and said "Where were you guys? All of the sudden, last october you just stopped coming." I had to explain to him about the seasons here. Anyway, he likes us coming, just don't rig on his lawn to be nice. After all, he may be the guy that calls the coasties when your vehicle is still parked nearby as it's getting dark.
