Our main wind sensor in Virginia beach (VB Pier) is down and iwindurf has made no attempts to respond to emails. It looks like they deleted it all together. Is anyone else having this issue? [/list] |

Here is the message I see right now on the Virginia Beach Pier sensor's page:
http://www.iwindsurf.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=112&siteID=1819
10/29/09: We do not know how long the site will be down. The pier is undergoing a pending sale. We are working on contacting the hosts to see if we can reinstate the station.
So that is the current status. It sounds like iWindsurf's hands are definitely tied.
And remember that the iWindsurf sensor team does not read these forums, so there won't be any more news available on the forums, But you could write again asking for at least an update to the status message on the VB Pier iWindsurf station's page. Because although iWindsurf may be forced to wait before they can re-install, the status message on the page is old and should be updated so people can know what's up.
