I'm looking to try skateboard sailing in the event parking area, Hood River. Any comments on what kind of board, where to attach the base, how to keep from kill'n myself... |

In general you want a board longer than 3 ft. with wide trucks and you want to mount the sail right behind the front truck. Also you want softer wheels and it doesn't hurt if you have a boom and mast dedicted to skate sailing as the boom can take a beating. As for sail size, a 4.0 would be a good starting point depending on your weight. Good Luck, Garrison at GSS. |
