Newb in Kansas looking for help/wants beginner gear

I'm brand new to the sport and need some guidance from someone if they'd be willing. I think I have all the needed gear, so if someone wants to watch a newb crash and all that shoot me an email please

Not super windy yet this AM, but it looks good for this weekend. If you can get to the lake this weekend, go talk to some local windsurfers and see if anyone knows about a local windsurf instructor.
