Berk Sunday 6.4 and 120 lightwind slalom, good session, fairly powered, winds from the W making for upwind on the way out, 4-5:20. |

Berk Tuesday, to pay dues, out at 4, 4 runs, then in, as it died in 6 minutes. Same 120 board and 6.4, well powered first run, then less and less. |

In those 6 minutes you planed circles around folks who were stalled in one place, so you shouldn't be complaining! It was better earlier, but not by much - barely planing on a 6.0. How was Isabel? All the fog seemed to be going there. |

Drove to Isabel by around 5:30, pulled into parking lot and it was sailible but foggy, needing the same setup as in Berkeley, and you know a 6.4 and 120 board, for a 150 lbs rider, can mean the wind might die to zero in 10 minutes. Didn't rerig, stood around for a while, cold lonely, but looked like 2 windsurf cars parked there, couldn't see thru the fog to spot them. |

Nice today from 2 to 3:30 on a 6.0. Foggy, so it was hard to read the water. Got windier and folks (at least 2) seemed to be doing OK on smaller gear. |

Washoe offered up two tasty fall treats after an abysmal summer of sour grapes. 5.5 to 5.0 solid sailing two days in a row after a month of starvation. Temporarily satisfied, but still hungry for those good times, baby, hungry through and through. |
