When Hincapie started talking, it was all over for the biggest fraud in sport's history. I never thought that someone who had gone through chemotherapy would have refused performance enhancing drugs and was rather amused that so many would have so naively bought into the fairy tale that was perpetrated.

What's a Hincapie?

A team mate that spilled the beans.

It's a sad commentary, and I hate to believe it's true, but drug testing has come a long way in the last decade. Blood samples that once passed are now being retested with a different outcome it would seem.

Did any of you notice the US woman sprinter - Carmelita Jeter in London. Do you think she/he was "juiced" a bit?

If any of you want to enjoy a feel good sports story, tune in tomorrow for the US Little League World Series Final..and root for my hometown squad against Tennessee. These kids have been playing together for three years and their run to finals has been incredible to watch. GO LUMA!!!

In 2009 my brother in law was one of the coaches that trained the LL World Series team from Chula Vista. My 12 year old son went to Cooperstown that year and hit a couple of home runs. He was also able to work out with the Chula Vista team that season with his uncle.

You are right Boggs. There is no greater pure love of sport than those 12 year olds playing baseball. Nothing. He's now 15, and the childhood has transitioned, but he still loves baseball.

My brother raced in a 100 mile mountain bike race that Armstrong won a couple years back. Armstrong got a flat tire several miles from the finish line and rode in on the rim to shatter the course record.

He is a remarkable athlete regardless of these accusations.

Dude, were you in Leadville too? They made a documentary of that ride, Lance riding through the streets of Leadville on his rim. Then the next year, Levi set the course record!

No, Boggsman...I am not much of a spectator. My Mom was there to see it. She still talks of it.

My brother is a hell of mtn bike rider. At 50 years, he just completed a multiday 500 mile singletrack race from Denver to Durango on the Colo. Trail. He is in total awe of Lance.

Was he there the year Levi destroyed the field?

No...that was last year? Lottery filled and he could not get in.

These endurance races are something else. The Colo Trail race was serious vertical gain at high elevations. I do 100 mile + mtb rides and the idea of racing them is nuts! It takes me a week to recover from a recreational pace!
