This beautiful film is all about the love of windsurfing and how our sport holds a key to life well lived. But its more than that. Children of the Wind explores the intensity and motivation belonging to all people but here, the people many of us have come to know and love.
Check out the Newport Beach Film Festival website http://www.newportbeachfilmfest.com/2013/ for more information about show times and location.
Tentative show date is April 27, but the actual screening date and time may be shuffled around, so check the festival’s website for something more up-to-date as we get closer.
You can see the film trailer at my Kona One blog

I can hear the Pipes a-playing and the violins in the background of Dannie Boy's post. I spent one winter season in Newport Beach but never knew they had a film festival. As far as I'm concerned, they still don't. You're link didn't work. |

I've been to the Newport Film Festival a few times and thought, maybe they should change the venue (Triange Theaters). Pretty small and cramped a majority of the times. |

What I found interesting would be that you can submit a film before Sept. 21 on-line for only $35-$40. |

I'll check it out for sure!
Hopefully they finished the construction around that theater. |
