RaceboardDude, thanks, but i took the scissors to it and chopped it today.
at least it sounds better without it flopping around up there.
actually its a pretty powerful sail, but then i had never used one that big before.
seems ok now. _________________ i like longboards. |

No worries. Glad the scissor fix worked out. Actually have a complete batten set including all the shear tip parts for a (2000?) 8.5 N.P. V-8. There must be a reason why I keep this old stuff around... |

I had a similar problem with a used sail I picked up.
Took it to NorthWave in HR and at my request they cut it off and resewed the top. Works great now. |
