Dan:
No explanation is necessary, we're on the same page.
I'm not going to go into every little detail about this, especially when I get a a croc of s*** for calling in a physics professor. I should know better than to argue logic & science here.

Dan, try sailing fast with a stock Rainbow freeride fin. You will either replace it or thin it out, either. |

I don't understand what of mine you refer to in your reply. Again, the original post was about using what high-grade paper to use, not about refoiling. Why are you speaking about re-foiling. And, yes, I wouldn't care to go fast on a stock Rainbow anything lately. My last Rainbows were the V-series and I never looked back. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!

Well, DUH!!
BTW, though, it was a physics prof, IIRC, who insisted that the only way to put weight on the mastfoot was to walk up there and step on it. |

Sorry, but I feel that all who compared dolphins to sharks are missing the point. It doesn't matter who swims faster. It is who swims more efficiently. That is what I meant by saying faster with less effort. All other things being equal, more efficient fin will be faster. |
