Ya don't need no steenkin' wipeout. The worst ratio of destruction to fun I've seen was the virgin one-hour-old Work Cup Gold 12# slalom board I saw yanked out of a pickup truck bed onto the rocks and dragged across more rocks to the water, all by just a hand on the back strap. He didn't just crack the nose; he pretty much shortened it by close to a foot.

I'm guessing his only previous board was a 25-30-pound plastic longboard.

Pisshaaa, this is how it's done, and it was stainless.
Crashed at the foot of a big wave w/o being able unhook.

That's a trophy! That sucker almost looks galvanized! You shoulda thought about replacing at a few years sooner!
