Gorgeous Picture Ron,
Anyone for a West Dennis to Follins 5.5 mile Stand up paddle mid day, Saturday and Sunday?

Thanks Ed; but surf calls, weather permitting first thing.
While the water is cold and not pleasant for the GWs, a good time to hit it.

Hope you had as much fun as I did. 1:06 end to end. Gorgeous weather, a little tail current and 5 mph tail wind;
I listened to music from my iphone in a lifeproof case under my drysuit, and had gpsmotionx telling me my distance and speed every 1/4 mile. I enjoyed that. I listen to music when I workout, so it seemed the same.
Here is my track.
http://gps.motionx.com/maps/84ae7df9a2b2bab7f53547b202427d06
4.89 mph average. 4.6 knot nautical mile; top speed 5.94 Knots.
This is with a prototype Makani SUP fin with a special foil, different than usual. Tomorrow I will run with the same outline fin but with the typical NACA foil.
The guys at Makani are awesome. Buy some fins SUP or windsurf from em.

Hello to Josh:
Many of the usual suspects here were all under paddle power. Sets varied from waist to near head high with a decent period.
For me it was give and take in the a$$ kicking department. Some gives and some takes, especially in the impact zone.
Calm winds, no clouds, and hopefully no sharks yet.
