From the bulletin:

"The first incident involved a kite that came down on the beach at Alameda Crown Beach, injuring a young girl. Rather than take responsibility for the injuries he or she had caused, the sailor fled the site."

"The second incident involved a young woman who paddled an SUP through the turning basin in the Oakland Estuary while a tug was engaged in turning a ship. Not only did this paddler violate the navigational rules that apply to this waterway, she compounded her error by shouting obscenities at the tug crew."

"In the last incident, a kiteboarder’s lines became entangled in the antenna of a commercial vessel (whose wake he was jumping off Crissy Field), endangering both the kiter and the passengers."

Breaking News: Reference to the number of kiting deaths in 2012 from the SFBA Document is wrong.
