You probably weakened it hitting something another time, so it was ready to break. That "slightest tick" was just the final blow. Better that it broke close to shore and you were able to retrieve it. And didn't have to struggle to get back to the beach. |

the top inside of the power finbox has varying degrees of protrusion of material surrounding the the bolthole, so you can't fill the notch all the way up to the top of the base. |
