As I mentioned in an earlier post I am a beginner windsurfer. I learn very quick and am very agile in sports. I found this board for a great price and was wondering if it is a good beginner board. It says it is the mistral pandera. What do you think? If you happen to know the dimensions of the board please share.

11" 9" about 185 liters.
Very good board for learning if you are light and athletic.

pretty narrow. when it first came out, lots of people thought it was the right board for them. it took more persistence for most to stick with it. welcome to windsurfing. lots of really good stuff to learn. lots of high wind stuff that won't work so well in more humble places. where are you?

Thanks! I'm checking out those links right now! Would 390$ be a good deal for the mistral pandora? It includes the sail, boom, mast, and harness. Basically ready to sail. Thanks!

As a relative newbie to windsurfing (2nd season), but having gone through all kinds of gear, I don't think so. I see a similar Pandera setup here for $200. Looks like a one-piece mast, and older mast base fitting, and very dated sails.
As a general rule, unless you can get it very cheap/free, avoid. Go for stuff you can update/replace later. So, 2-piece mast, modern mast fitting, maybe a little bigger board. Your budget is right, but I'd hold out a little for the right setup. If you tell us where you are, maybe someone local can help out.

If that board doesn't have any holes in it and the daggerboard and sliding mast track work I say it's worth about $100, the rest of the rig is basically worthless old junk that is thrown in dumpsters or given away free everyday.
