Back in the day when he was known as Sinbad, we did share two classic NE'ers at Pleasant Bay.
Although getting his ass kicked; he continued on to make the best of it.
Warts and all, he was part of the clan

Cosmic Charlie was one of his better monikers I thought. Perhaps he's using that one right now.

Alright, as someone who's been on this forum for the past 3 seasons, and watched w/ amusement but never quite understood what was going on...
There must be others out there like me.. Could somebody do a 'Paul Harvey' and give us "the REST of the story"?

Sure...
Mostly I guess, he would chime in like everyone else with sailing input, and advice on the esoteric aspects of windsurfing, but somehow the conversations would invariably deteriorate into thread killers. There were periods of time where the forum became clogged with not much else.
The unique issue is that he would sign in as several different posters, and sometimes give himself advice.....A true art form, it drove most of us including me.....nuts.
He was dogged by another poster who would invariably "out" the new identity. Oneup, who became Pueno.....The history between the two seems to have had a dark past.
When he stuck to topic, life was good. In the last year i think he tried to only use Speedysailor and SailingJoe
RIP

I ran into Bruce about 15 years ago at Mayflower. He had the crappiest gear, you could imagine. I think he somehow knew me , from the mid 80's. There was a lake in Westboro, Ma. where a bunch of us used to show up and try to windsurf.
