Anyone know of a link or chart to determine what size fins with sail size? I am just looking for a starting pont. I understand there are a few variables weight, riding style.... Trying to figure out fin setups for my fanatic freewave...so thruster/tri fin setups. |

I would say your board is set up to be a 2+1, smaller sidefins and larger center rear, you can of course try variations to achieve a different feel, as looser more like a twin, with fin size closer to the same length.
when dealing with small side fins remember that 1 cm change will alter things when dealing with 8 or 10cm to start with.
Have you tried this board with the side s blocked off, and sailed single ?
The folks in Hatteras did this. Don't appeal to me.
One of the advantageous of multi fins is they cover a broader range of sail quiver//conditions with just one set of fin.
Your toe in on the sides is 1.09 degree, I would HIGHly recommend to try K4s with 2 degree toe and asymmetrical sides, cheap, light weight, and Graham Ezzy signature, go to ::

fins will ship at close to the UK pounds figure they show, these are great, and the co 4 boards is too!! _________________ K4 fins

Just to confuse the matter further, I sailed a friends JP Australia 93 L Single Thruster with the original 22 cm center fin and then again when he installed a Black Project 22 cm fin. The Black Project fin felt smaller (was easier to push too hard against the fins) but the board was both faster and better turning / looser on a wave. |

BPF are making some excellent fins with additional all the time.
the Black Project Fins work so very well for me, in single twin quad and tri

i sailed the fanatic in the beginning center fin (which was good). But now sailing tri-fin and don't plan on going back. currently i am using a weed fin setup....20cm center an 11cm sides. this was great yesterday with my 4.2. i do have 10cm sides. even though this is weed fins...they seemed better than the mfc 19&11cm fins |

I could have some slot box, if you determine waht you want (if any) drop me a PM and will see what I no longer need . I sold my quad that had 4 slots.
next board on the horizon will have US/Mini tuttle, so I am sure I have some excess.
BPF, MUFs or Makani, maybe K4.....
I tried a single fin on my Witchcraft ONCE, never again, always 3. _________________ K4 fins
